These step-by-step guides will show you how to use PinDownCloud, the Pinterest bulk download tool for Pinterest power users, to supercharge your Pinterest workflow.
Install Chrome Extension
Required to download Pinterest boards. Download it free from Chrome Web Store.
Getting Started
Install the Extension & Sign In
First, add PinDownCloud to your Chrome browser from the Chrome Web Store. Then sign in using your Google, Microsoft, or Apple account. The extension is your bridge between Pinterest and our download service.
💡 Tips
- •The extension is completely free and secure - it only reads Pinterest board data
- •You only need to install it once and it auto-updates
- •Make sure you're logged into Pinterest in the same browser
Copy the Pinterest Board URL
Navigate to any Pinterest board you want to download. Copy the full URL from your browser's address bar. The board must be public (private boards can't be downloaded for privacy reasons).
💡 Tips
- •The URL should look like: pinterest.com/username/boardname
- •You can download any public board - it doesn't have to be yours
- •Large boards (1000+ pins) work great but take a bit longer
Paste URL & Start Download
Go to your PinDownCloud dashboard and paste the board URL. Click the download button and our system will validate the board, extract all pin URLs using the extension, and start downloading full-size images and videos.
💡 Tips
- •You can track progress in real-time from your dashboard
- •You'll get an email notification when it's ready
- •Use 'Only New' to skip pins you've already downloaded
Download Your ZIP
Once complete, download your ZIP file with all images neatly organized and numbered. Everything is full-size and ready to use in your projects, mood boards, or design tools like Canva, Figma, etc.
💡 Tips
- •ZIP files expire after 60 minutes to save server space
- •You can re-download the same board anytime for free
Pro Tips & Advanced Features
Smart Download Filtering
Use 'Only New' to download only pins added since your last download. Perfect for keeping your collection updated without duplicates. You can also filter by images only or videos only.
Bulk Downloads
Premium users can queue multiple boards at once and download them all in parallel. Great for downloading your entire Pinterest profile or multiple client boards quickly.
Auto-Retry on Failures
If a download fails (network issues, Pinterest limits, etc.), our system automatically retries. Free users get {maxRetries} retries, Premium gets unlimited. You'll be notified of the final result.
